Hey Gang! We have officially reached the half way point of Summer (tear) but alas, the days are longer, the drinks are colder and the shorts are shorter – hay gurl hay! So, by popular demand I designed another booty and thighs workout – my Buns of Steel Workout.
This workout can be done in your living room and requires no equipment. You will need a yoga mat or soft surface for some of the isometric toning work at the end. When doing this workout, go HARD from start. Don’t save up. For best results, really get your heart rate up in the first 3-4 minutes. Also, keep your abs engaged and tuck your tail bone under during all of the standing exercises.
The workout takes 10 minutes and you can expect to burn 80-100 calories.

Hey gang! Hope your week is off to an EXCELLENT start. Here’s a 10 minute HIIT (high intensity interval training) workout video that I shot in Central Park NYC. The workout is intense and efficient! You need to 2 medium/heavy dumbbells (at least 8 pounds for women and 15 pounds for men). To get the most out of the workout, do NOT take breaks unless I say so! 🙂
HIIT works because it forces us to push to our highest level of perceived exertion for short periods of time. This increases our anaerobic threshold, which burns a TON of calories during and AFTER the workout. Try the workout for yourself and let me know what you think. Hey hey! Here’s a new workout video I made last weekend. It is intense! If you want a 10 minute cardio and abs workout, search no more. Expect to burn ~200 calories and for your abs to be on FIRE! After Turbo NYC last weekend, we made this 15 minute cardio video for you guys. Remember, you can always modify the high impact moves. So, step side to side instead of leaping or do deep squats instead of jumping. My only rule is that you give me 100% of your energy!

The word of the week is = PROGRESS! GRIT Ultimate Body Burn Vol. 1, my total body workout video will be released very soon! Last month I posted an article to express my excitement and gratitude after finishing the video shoot. Since then, we’ve made even greater strides in post production. This entire project has been a transformational learning experience – it’s amazing what we can can accomplish when we break a LARGE project down into SMALL tasks.
